You
may use the general encyclopedias, non-fiction books, databases, periodicals,
school library, public labara, videos and the Internet.
Big 6#3: Location and Access- Where can I find
these resources?
You
may use the card catalogue, general databases and the Internet in the Library
Media Center, town library, or at home general encyclopedias, non-fiction
books, periodicals, videos and the Internet. Beside each source write the
location where you found it.
Big 6#4: Use of Information- How can I get what I
need from these sources?
Big 6#5: Synthesis- How do I put it all together?
Organize all the information from multiple
sources. Taking all the information that you have gathered, use a word
processor to first create an outline and then to draft an essay. Use your
information to answer the essential question based on your research. Include
your Work Cited page. Present your findings.
Big 6#6: Evaluation- How did I do?
Does your final product answer the
complete the assigned task? What did you learn? What would you do differently
if you had more time or had to complete a similar assignment? How could you
improve the results of this product? What are the questions that need more
information?
