Roselle Park Middle School Library Media Center Mission Statement

The mission of the Library Media Center is to create an environment in which all members of the school community become more effective learners and to ensure that students and staff are effective users of resources, ideas and information. This mission understands that it is through reading advocacy, information management, and promoting programs that give instruction on information literacy that the community is best served and will be better prepared in becoming responsible citizens and learners for a lifetime. This mission also recognizes the essential role of the school library media program in the educational process as a catalyst for all academic instruction and a dynamic force for excellence in education.
