Book
Care Page
Here are some rules and general care guidelines that will help keep our library materials in the best possible shape for all to use and enjoy.
Keep books in a separate plastic bag or book
bag when you are carrying them to and from school so that the book edges and
pages do not curl or wrinkle form exposure to moisture.
Use a bookmark rather than bending the corner
of a book, or leaving the book open flat to keep your place or page. This will
save the binding and the pages form harm.
Wash you hands before reading a book,
otherwise the pages may become sticky or smeared with dirt or food.
Turn the pages of your book carefully so that
they do not tear or rip.
Return books on time so that others may enjoy
them as much as you do.
Thank
you from all the books and materials in the Media Center!
