[Sample Problem] [Student Solutions]
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The Geometry Forum at Drexel University posts a new geometry problem each week. Students from all over the world download these problems, and e-mail possible solutions to Drexel's project director. Correct solutions are posted periodically - with credit given to students who provided those solutions. At the end of the year recognition is given to students who submit a sufficient number of correct answers.
During the 1995-96 school year, Janet Zahumeny's geometry students began to participate in this project. At that time, Roselle Park High School was one of only 5 schools in the state of New Jersey which competed during the 1995-96 school year.
During the 1996-97 school year RPHS was ranked as number 9 in this international competition.

STUDENT SOLUTIONS
Students used The Geometer's Sketchpad computer software to display their answers below. Can you tell which are correct? Try tracing both nets on paper, then cutting and folding each of them to form cubes - that should help!
